I once met this guy, who seemed to be a very promising connection for my work. I had met him through a friend, and he was all enthusiastic to give me his card. Some time later, I decided to call him so we could get back on discussing about business. I called twice and always fell on the same responding machine.So, I decided to use the above trick. I waited all afternoon. Finally the guy called me four hours later, but when he asked me what was it about that I wanted to congratulate him, I.... blocked. So to cover things up, I told him: You know... because you are LIKE ME, and we share the same way of thinking about this business. He laughed. He, probably, found it strange but I got him do business with us.
